Prof. J.C Munene, the Director of Doctoral Programmes at MUBS has challenged the academia to teach entrepreneurship that adopts a practice-based approach that emphasizes using, applying, and acting upon entrepreneurship principles. He said the academia must find new models that will support the development and success of Entrepreneurship in the country. Prof. Munene was making a presentation at the 14th Annual Entrepreneurship Conference at Speke Resort Hotel, Munyonyo on November 14, 2019. He emphasized that Entrepreneurship education cultivates innovative talents, which are an important driving force for future development. He also noted that competition among entrepreneurs must be encouraged as a means of keeping them in business.
