Participants at the 10th Annual ASAMU Summit
The Accounting Students ‘Association of Makerere University held its Annual summit under the theme ‘Aligning Academic Theory to Skillful Practice: Bridging Learning and Industry to Broaden Perspectives of Next Generation Professionals’
The 10th Annual summit brought together students, industry professionals from Absa Bank Uganda, ICPAU, BDO, PKF, ACCA and Deloitte who gave insights into accounting as a sphere and enabling students to acquire hands-on abilities for career success
During the event, the Acting Deputy Principal, Prof. Mindra Katoroogo, advised students to align their skills with industry requirements, retool, and leverage expert insights to enhance their employability and seize available opportunities.
