The Guild Legal Advisor Mr. Kajubi Brian has advised the Guild Representative Council (GRC) to study and understand the legal provisions in the Guild constitution to avoid misinterpreting the Guild Constitution. He was addressing the GRC session on October 10,2023 at MUBS Main campus, Nakawa and clarified that he has no constitutional rights to interfere with the decisions of the GRC house, his role is to provide for legal consultation not decision making. He explained that, one missing vote can not result into another election for the UNSA (Uganda National Students Association) nominees. The Guild conducted nomination for the UNSA elections. Each institution fronts four candidates to contest. The Guild President, the Speaker and the GRC for persons with disabilities go through automatically. For the fourth participant, elections were conducted, the information Minister Beinomugisha Mable scored 28 votes, Hon Rosemary Nanjulu got 26 votes,the Vice President, Mary Jacklyne Nakyeyune scored 2 and one vote was missing, hence the demand for re-elections
