The MUBS Muslim students under their Association of MUBS Muslim Students Association (MUBSMSA) from 24th to 29th December, 2023 organised a caravan with a mission to serve and uplift the community, fostering a sense of unity and compassion where the spirit of community leadership and service took center stage as they embarked on the a transformative journey through Wakiso District. As the association, they participated in a series of impactful activities that left an indelible mark in the communities they visited. These activities included; distributing clothes, distributing food items, distributing soap, tree planting initiatives that symbolized the association’s commitment to making a positive impact on environmental conservation, cleaning the community, among others. The caravan also extended it’s reach to the hospital surroundings where they had a medical team to sensitize the communities about some diseases that needed scanning like dentistry, eye problems, among others. The Association extends its heart felt gratitude to all the MUBS Staff and Students that contributed money and other materials for this cause and appreciates all the students that turned up for the event.
