With the growing co-evolution of today’s global village, multilingualism readily provides community-shared opportunities for exploring the related cultures, foods/cuisines, languages, designs and brands for the respective stakeholders and youth skilled with a related diversity of business languages.
Therefore, the Department of Business Languages, in the Faculty of Tourism, Hospitality and Languages of Makerere University Business School is organizing the second Business Languages Festival 2024. This community engaged event is slated to take place on Thursday 7th March 2024, at MUBS Main Campus Nakawa from 8:00am till late, with engaging pre-events prior to the main event, under the theme “Youth Preparedness for Multilingualism and its opportunities“. The event presents languages-based opportunities like the multilingual success storytelling challenge, service/products exhibitions by key brands, foods/cuisines experiences, and sports activities among others. A number of distinguished guests from diplomatic missions and ministries, companies/ organizations and other participants are expected to grace the event. The MUBS Community is encouraged to actively participate in this event.
