As she waits to graduate in 2025, Miria Nakagolo is running her own business Mirifare School Supplies company making Counter Books of three and four Quire. She supplies them to students, parents, schools and stationary shops in and around Kampala.
The books are manually made, I buy raw materials from Nasser Road. The business is a year old and still growing. I started with capital of UGX 300,000, currently the capital has grown to UGX 500,000. The business is not registered yet, my target is to register it as soon to be able to attract more clients since I am still continuing with it.

I was motivated into the business when I made a market analysis and I saw that there is growing demand for the stationary products in the education sector. There are many schools coming up in different communities and also the young population is growing at a higher rate. According to the demand in the market, I hope to start a stationary shop in future to add in more stationary products.
