The Makerere University Business School Administrative Staff Association, (MUBSASA), an association that aims at improving the administrative staff welfare is now fully registered under the Community Development Office, Kampala Capital City Authority, (KCCA) in Nakawa Division.
This was in a bid to enable members fully subscribe to the Association as required by the constitution.
The initiative was speared by the new MUBSASA executive under the stewardship of Mr. Mwine Rogers who embarked on the registration process which saw the Association registered under the Community Development Office, KCCA Nakawa Division.
Mr. Mwine explains that the Association has now an operational running bank account. “After getting the necessary documents a bank account has been opened with DFCU Bank Bugolobi and getting the supplier number has been secured.”
Commenting on this milestone, MUBSASA Chairperson Mr. Mwine thanked his Executive for supporting and funding the process and he said the Association is now one of the few registered associations in public Universities across the Country.
The move not only enables the Association to have funds but also enables partnerships with other entities in the country. This will improve the welfare of staff members once they begin subscribing in the next financial year.
