On November, 15, 2024 Bachelor of Business Administration Year 3 students from Makerere University Business School, Mbale Regional Campus, undertaking the Entrepreneurship Mindset and Action course, had a transformative learning field experience. Led by their facilitator, Mr. Eric Mulocho, the students visited Byeffe Foods Company Limited, a youth-led enterprise founded by the inspiring Namutosi Fatuma. While receiving the team, Ms. Namutosi welcomed the students and thanked Mr. Mulocho for his continued support in the coordination and planning of the study tour
programme. Additionally, she took a moment to share her entrepreneurial unique journey, shedding light on the opportunities and challenges of starting and running a business. The students were taken on a guided tour of the company’s various departments, learning firsthand about the production processes, market strategies, and the enterprise’s regional impact.
The visit aimed toignite the entrepreneurial spirit among the finalists, equipping them with practical insights and encouraging them to capitalize
on opportunities to start their own ventures. This enriching field experience is part of MUBS’ commitment to nurturing innovative and action- driven graduates ready to make a difference in the business world. In his remarks, Mr. Mulocho thanked Byeffe Foods Company Ltd for accepting to host the students.
