September 3, 2025- The MUBS Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Incubation Centre (EIIC) MUBS-EIIC launched the 10X Program with an Orientation and Training of Trainers session at Mbale Campus, marking a key step in expanding digital economy opportunities for young women in Eastern Uganda.
The 10X Program, led by Outbox Hub in partnership with UNCDF, aims to empower 250,000 young women facing barriers to technology, capital, markets, and digital skills, whether unemployed, underemployed, or already running businesses.
Through this program, participants will be equipped with the tools and training necessary to engage meaningfully and competitively in the digital economy, creating pathways to dignified and fulfilling work. Stakeholder engagements were held with district leaders in Mbale, Kapchorwa, Kween, Sironko, Tororo, and Busia, fostering strong partnerships and local support for the program’s successful implementation.
