Makerere University has commenced the registration exercise for students who were admitted to study at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) for the 2025/2026 academic year. The registration process, which officially began on September 8, 2025, is an essential step in formally enrolling students into the Makerere University system.

This exercise applies to all first-year students who secured admission to various undergraduate programs offered at MUBS, a constituent college of Makerere University. The purpose of the registration is to verify student credentials, capture essential academic data, and ensure that each student is properly integrated into the university’s academic and administrative systems.

Students pursuing studies at MUBS are awarded Makerere University degrees and officially graduate from Makerere University upon successful completion of their programs. This underscores the academic and institutional link between the two institutions, with MUBS functioning under the wider umbrella of Makerere University’s governance and accreditation.

University authorities have advised all newly admitted students to complete their registration within the stipulated timelines to avoid delays in accessing key academic services such as course enrollment, timetables, student portals, and examination permits. “The registration process is a critical part of your academic journey,” said a representative from the university’s Academic Registrar’s office. “We encourage all freshers admitted to MUBS to ensure they complete this process promptly and accurately.”

The university has also set up help desks and information points to guide students through the process, and additional resources have been made available on both the Makerere and MUBS websites.
