The MUBS Career Guidance Unit conducted a Skills Development Training from October 4–5, 2025, at the Arua Regional Campus, bringing together a dynamic group of students eager to enhance their abilities for the evolving world of work. The two-day session, led by Ms. Mariam Nakigude Lugolobi, In- Charge of the Career Guidance Unit, focused on equipping learners with practical, job-ready skills, including communication, leadership, problem-solving, personal branding, and career planning.

Mariam Nakigude Lugolobi, In- Charge of the Career Guidance Unit, focused on equipping learners with practical, job-ready skills, including communication, leadership, problem-solving, personal branding, and career planning.

Students participated in interactive workshops and group activities designed to build confidence and prepare them for real-world challenges. Participants expressed a renewed sense of clarity about their career paths and stronger motivation to grow, innovate, and pursue future opportunities. “It was inspiring to witness the students’ enthusiasm and eagerness to develop skills that will help them succeed in the workplace,” said Ms. Nakigude This training is part of MUBS’ ongoing commitment to student empowerment and employability, ensuring learners across Regional Campuses have access to the knowledge and tools needed to thrive.
