The MUBS Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Incubation Centre (EIIC) 10X Program is making significant progress in transforming entrepreneurship across Eastern Uganda. In October 2025, teams from MUBS Main Campus and Mbale Campus visited Sironko, Bududa, Lwakhakha, Kumi, Soroti, Mbale, Malaba, Tororo, and Busia, engaging young entrepreneurs, women, and local leaders to inspire innovation and practical business growth.

The visits included meetings with Council representatives and youth-led enterprises, exploring ways to enhance skills, boost opportunities, and promote sustainability. The program places special focus on empowering young women aged 18–35 through digital skills training, mentorship, and access to resources for success in the digital economy.

“The initiative is part of our mission to turn ideas into thriving enterprises,” said the EIIC team. “We are committed to equipping youth and women with the tools, mentorship, and skills to compete and succeed in today’s dynamic business landscape.”

Over the past three months, participants have completed intensive training facilitated by MUBS, learning best practices for sustainable growth and enterprise management. By taking training to local communities and promoting inclusion, the MUBS-EIIC 10X Program is driving entrepreneurship, spurring innovation, and empowering Uganda’s next generation of business leaders.
