Students display their certificates after completing the BrighterMonday Career and AI Skills Boot Camp at MUBS Jinja Campus
Brighter Monday Uganda has reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment through a Career Skills and AI Boot Camp held on October 30, 2025, at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Jinja Campus.
The training equipped students with essential employability and digital skills, blending technology, innovation, and career development. The event attracted students from various academic programs eager to enhance their competitiveness in an evolving job market.
As a leading HR services platform, BrighterMonday Uganda connects job seekers with employers through its dynamic online job marketplace and offers HR solutions such as staff outsourcing and career development resources.
Speaking at the event, Rt. Hon. Ruth Ajambo, Guild Prime Minister of MUBS Jinja Campus, commended BrighterMonday Uganda for bridging the gap between academic knowledge and workplace skills.
“This boot camp has equipped us not only for employment but also for personal growth and innovation in a rapidly changing world,” she said.
The Campus Chief, Assoc. Prof. Noah Mwelu, expressed appreciation to BrighterMonday Uganda for partnering with MUBS to support student development. He emphasized that MUBS students graduate with more than academic credentials—they leave with practical skills that prepare them for the future.
All participants received certificates of appreciation and branded water bottles, a gesture that motivated many to engage in similar learning opportunities in the future.
The initiative highlights MUBS ongoing effort to collaborate with industry partners to equip students with hands-on skills that foster innovation and employability.
