Delegates pose for a group photo at the Gender and Clean Energy Learning Workshop

On November 04 2025, a delegation of MUBS international students, led by the Guild Minister for Foreign Affairs, Emmanuel Ayernor Kwame Dei-Anakwah, paid a courtesy call to the Honorary Consul of Ghana, Mr. Kwame Ejalu, at the Ghana Consulate in Kampala. The visit was organized to familiarize students with the work of the embassy, the services it offers, and its role in supporting its citizens abroad.

The delegation included students from Comoros, South Sudan, and Tanzania, accompanied by Dr. Martha Abeja Ekure from the Dean of Student Office (DOS). During the visit, students had the opportunity to interact with consular officials, learn about the functions of the consulate, and understand how diplomatic missions assist their nationals living or studying in foreign countries.

The session also exposed them to essential protocol procedures and the general operations of an embassy. This visit is part of a broader MUBS Student Relations Office initiative that connects international students with their respective embassies or consulates.

These engagements help students identify the location of their missions, build relationships with their country representatives, and gain knowledge of embassy services. Previous visits have included the Tanzanian Embassy in 2024, as well as the embassies of Kenya, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
