Prof. Vincent Bagire, Dean Faculty of Research and Graduate studies advised the graduands from the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Energy, Economics and Management Science to be disciplined, keep time because they are expected to be at venue by 7am during their graduation ceremony that will be held at Makerere Freedom Square on February 4, 2024. He said this during the online briefing to the graduands on January 24, 2023. Prof. Bagire noted that Bachelors of Human Resource Management is presenting 387 with 6 first class degree, Bachelors of Leadership and Governance presenting 20 graduates with 3 first class degree, Bachelors of Economics presenting 60 graduates with 3 first class degrees and Bachelors of Business Statistics presenting 139 graduates with 8 first class degrees.

Dr. Joshua Mugambwa, Dean Faculty of Management said that this briefing is important because it provides information that will make the graduation ceremony a success and when the graduand are not prepared, it can lead to embarrassment. This briefing also provides the graduands an opportunity to know what they should do or not do during the ceremony. Take note of the graduation day, pay all your dues and get your graduation cards, have your academic gown to allow you enter the freedom square that day’’, he advised. Meanwhile Dr. Ronett Atukunda, Dean Faculty of Energy, Economics and Management Science congratulated all the graduands upon making it to the freedom Square and thanked them for the hard work they exhibited. It is a very exiting day for both of us, so we expect you to behave differently from these other students She also told the graduands not to forget MUBS, create opportunities for others by creating jobs, internship placements for other continuing students and to always come back to discuss for their friends still in School.
