Prof . Milburga Atcero , Dean of the Faculty of Tourism , Hospitality, and Languages at MUBS, presented her research on factors influencing second language acquisition in adult learners at the 7th International Conference on Advanced Research in Education. The conference was held from June 7 9, 2024, at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Organized annually, the academic conference on education brings together academics to discuss trends, regional and national challenges, exchange suggestions and methodologies, and determine the most relevant courses of action.
This year, the conference took place at The Møller Institute at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, and was organized by EDUCATIONCONF.
Assoc. Prof. Atcero was invited to attend and present her work on her paper entitled “Exploring Factors Influencing Second Language Acquisition in Adult Learners: A Case Study of Universities in Uganda” by the EDUCATIONCONF Technical Committee. Her paper was reviewed for its technical merits, and she was selected to lead subsequent technical discussions.
