At the commencement of each year, the Support Staff Representative to Council Mr. Geofrey Emong, takes on an initiative to tour different sections under the support Staff with an aim to capture their views, concerns and suggestions to be able to forward them to the
School Management and Council.
On January 22, 2024, Mr. Emong, started this year’s tour with the visit to staff from the security section at MUBS Main Campus Nakawa.

In his address, Mr. Emong emphasized the issues of discipline, team work and self motivation as key for one to be able to accomplish their tasks successfully and enjoy their time at work.

As security personnel of the Institution, you ought to be disciplined, good timekeepers, smart and have good public relation when dealing with both Staff, Students and the Public.

He also assured them that the School Management and Council is doing everything possible to improve on their welfare even across all Regional Campuses.

Mr. Emong further urged them to develop the culture of supporting each other, not only in sorrowful moments but in all aspects of life.

Mr. Bogere Francis, the support staff secretary of welfare, encouraged them to respect and love their job in order to keep moving in the ladders of leadership

Staff on the other hand also tabled their suggestion to help them perform their duties diligently and these include; work gadgets like rain courts, flash lights, boots, radio calls, healthcare services, to consider giving them over time to cater for the extra hours they spend on duty, among others
