While addressing the Guild Representative Council, (GRC) on April 4, 2024, the MUBS Ag. Principal Prof. Moses Muhwezi assured the students’ representatives that examinations in Makerere University Business School will gone on as scheduled.
“We are ready to conduct end of semester two examinations before the census break. We have covered our classwork within the Semester weeks and I can confirm that exams are already set. We want our students to be in time for their internship placements without any interruptions”. Prof. Muhwezi also informed the students that the Government of the Republic of Uganda is considering to support MUBS to set up a central teaching facility.
“We also plan to build a students’ centre here at MUBS. These will help in addressing the issue of space.”
Final Examinations for end of semester Two AY 2023/2024, will start on April 16, 2024 and end on May 08, 2024 before Institutions break off for National population Census from May 10 -20, 2024.
Unlike Institutions on semester system, those that use terms such as in primary and secondary education levels will not be affected as the census exercise will find them in first term holiday.
