While giving her remarks at the Graduation briefing for the Graduands of Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Languages on January 23, 2023, the Dean Faculty of Tourism Hospitality and Languages Assoc. Prof. Milburg Atcero said that It is important for the graduands to arrive on time to avoid disruption, plan accordingly to avoid any delay, dress accordingly and maintain silence during speeches and briefs from all the Speakers. As the Faculty, we celebrate your achievement, and encourage you to express gratitude to your parents , lecturers, and colleagues because they have been part of the journey in MUBS.
Meanwhile Prof. Vincent Bagire, Dean Faculty of Graduate Studies who was the Guest Speaker said that MUBS will present 4577 graduands, and urged all the Students awaiting graduation on February 01, 2024 to confirm that their names appear in the graduation book and should have cleared with all the departments so that they are able to access their the gowns, Invitation cards and the graduation book. He further called upon the graduands dress decently, for example ladies should not come skimpy dresses and for gentlemen in shorts or torn shirts but rather a suit if they can afford it.
Be aware that security is very alert, do not coming with huge bags and any other un necessary gadgets. The ceremony will take place in freedom square and the entrance will be western gate or eastern gate and not the main gate since they will not be allowed to enter, the drivers shall not be required to be in the cars after packing . He also advised them to look out for the days programmes, look for their personal chairs since they will be customized and make sure that their parents and guardians are in the right place. Prof. Bagire further urged the students to properly market them selves and their brands while out there.
