On August 7, 2025, the School Registrar, Dr. Eldred Kyomuhangi Manyindo, advised students to dress appropriately, attend lectures regularly, and stay organized. She urged them to avoid behaviors that could distract them from their academic responsibilities.
Dr. Kyomuhangi also reminded students to follow registration guidelines carefully to prevent any issues during the enrollment process. Ms. Mariam Nakigudde, In charge of the Career and Skills Development Unit, encouraged students to take ownership of their future. She explained that while university offers freedom, academic performance speaks volumes at graduation. She appealed to students to discover themselves, develop their skills, and build their success throughout their university journey. Ms. Nakigudde also emphasized the importance of networking, being bold, embracing change, and viewing challenges as opportunities.
Ms. Susan Nalubega, Head of the Revenue Unit, guided students through the tuition payment process and how to use the university’s online portal. She advised students to attend classes consistently to avoid retakes, noting that every failed course requires additional payment. Ms. Nalubega also warned students to be vigilant against fraud, as new students are often targeted. Representing the School Librarian, Mr. Jackson introduced students to the library services available on campus. He encouraged them to make frequent use of the library’s extensive resources to support their studies.
