This was said by the Portfolio Relationship Manager, Ms. Brenda Amony during the NSSF Hi-Innovator Pitch day and award ceremony organized by NSSF Hi-Innovator in partnership with MUBS under MUBS Entreprenuership, Innovations and Incubation Centre (MUBS EIIC) at MUBS Main Campus Nakawa on May 17, 2024
Ms. Amony encouraged Entrepreneurs to pitch their business to people wherever they go. “It is not all about the money but the strategic partnership and looking at the people who can advice you, be in position to articulate your businesses and understand them so that you can improve on them.
The NSSF Hi-Innovator is teaching women entrepreneurs that have been left behind on how to run their businesses and catch up with the well established businesses.
The Director MUBS EIIC Dr. Diana Ntamu noted that the NSSF Hi-Innovator is teaching women entrepreneurs that have been left behind on how to run their businesses and catch up with the well established businesses.
Dr. Ntamu encouraged the participants to keep documentation of their business and also implement the lessons learnt from the NSSF hi-innovator programme.
“Everything is about inspiration, women should run business and be the inspiration to the world. This connection and support should inspire you to grow the business and work on the feedback. Mr. Alex Lumanyika, Head of Strategies NSSF applauded MUBS for starting Hi innovator programme.
He noted that there is a lot of corruption lately and therefore gave credibility for the organizers of this programme for being consistent, free and fair. Women are involved and they are going to be the game changer in the country and the path of sustainable is very important therefore, be patient, have hope and have a long-term view of your business.
