Makerere University Business School (MUBS) participated in the GAIME Conference 2025, held in Kampala from October 30–31, 2025 which attracted over 5,000 delegates from 180 countries. The global event, one of Africa’s largest AI and digital economy forums, focused on advancing innovation, collaboration, and technology-driven growth.

During the conference, Dr. John Paul Kasse, Head of Digitization at MUBS, held discussions with Dr. Talitha Washington on potential collaboration to accelerate the School’s digital transformation agenda. The two emphasized the importance of technology in enhancing learning, research, and administration, with a shared goal of positioning MUBS as a Regional leader in digital innovation. Dr. Kasse also showcased MUBS’ ongoing digitization initiatives, including the integration of digital systems to improve operational efficiency and student services. The meetings concluded with a mutual commitment to pursue concrete partnerships that will strengthen MUBS’ digital capacity and innovation footprint.
