MUBS ICT Centre in partnership with UNICEF Uganda and Young African Refugees For Integral Developments (YARID) started on a transformative journey with digital skills training for vulnerable out of school adolescents and youths in the country. UNICEF promotes the rights & wellbeing of every child in 190 countries & territories.
The Training was launched on May 14, 2024 by the Ag. Principal, Prof Moses Muhwezi at MUBS Main Campus Nakawa, targeting primary-level children are returning to their schools, armed with knowledge in computer basics.
Prof. Muhwezi encouraged the children to pay attention and learn and use this second chance for education wisely. “Use the digital skills you are to  acquire to innovate and teach others who did not get the chance of learning, for this program to have a multiplier effect.
Also stay away from drugs, alcohol and any other addictive substances because they can ruin your future and lives and be disciplined.
