On April 16, 2024, MUBS signed a five year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Uganda.
The collaboration is intended to implement the YALI Leadership Academy in Uganda hosted at the MUBS leadership Centre to bring services closer to the people who can not go to Nairobi for leadership and innovation programmes, develop short course for leadership trainings and develop leadership projects together.
Ag. Principal Prof. Moses Muhwezi signed on behalf of MUBS while Ms. Faith Mairah the Chairperson YALI Uganda and an Alumni of MUBS signed on behalf of YALI.
The MoU will be housed at the MUBS Leadership Centre. Prof Muhwezi commended YALI leadership for collaborating with MUBS noting that such partnerships are important to Universities. And Ms. Mairah said YALI chose MUBS because it is a business and management Institution and these are fields that are key for the country and east Africa as a whole. She commended MUBS for shaping her future when she was a student.
