Makerere University Business School (MUBS) enhanced its communications capacity by training over 20 media staff from the Publications Unit, Public Relations Office, Social Media Team, Management Information Systems (MIS), and Leadership Centre. The training, organized by the Digitization Committee in collaboration with the Publications Unit, equipped participants with practical skills to create high-quality digital content and strengthen MUBS’ brand visibility.
Held on 10, 13, 14, and 17 November 2025, the program provided hands-on training in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Participants gained practical experience designing print-ready materials, creating engaging social media assets, and developing a consistent brand identity using logos, colors, typography, and templates. They also mastered best practices for exporting files for print, web, and social media, including proper handling of CMYK/RGB, resolution, and bleed settings.

She emphasized that ongoing skills development, combined with the provision of proper resources, is key to enhancing the quality, consistency, and reach of MUBS’ communications. In her address, she also pledged support for upgraded media equipment to further strengthen the team’s capacity. “This training demonstrates MUBS’ commitment to capacity building and digital modernization,” Assoc.
