Each Year the Uganda National Students’ Association (UNSA) a body whose major role is to be the be the voice and support of students in post primary academic institutions under the official Patronage of the President of the Republic of Uganda, held its elections to fill the fourteen executive committee positions.
For the year 2023, the elections took place on December 31st 2023 at NALI- Kyankwanzi to usher in the 34th UNSA cabinet and it is in these elections that MUBS students won big by obtaining three positions on the National executive committee of students in Uganda, a body whose major role is to be the be the voice and support of students in post primary academic institutions under the official Patronage of the President of the Republic of Uganda.

According to the general tally sheet of the election results as published by the Electoral Commission Secretary Duse Abudala, the 26th MUBS Guild President HE. Christopher Wasswa managed to become the Speaker after obtaining 365 votes winning Mr. Jackson Odida and Mr. Rwotomiyo Brian who were able to score 235 and 61 votes respectively.

The MUBS Guild Speaker Rt. Hon. Edwin Muhumuza managed to become the 34th UNSA General Secretary after obtaining 257 votes winning Mr. Muligisa Anthony and Mr. Mukonyozi Owen who obtained 247 and 128 votes respectively and finally the MUBS Information Minister Hon. Mable Beinomugisha became the 34th UNSA Secretary in charge of women affairs with 215 votes which was over and above other contenders that is Ms. Nattabi Isabel Aida, Ms. Kobusingye Lillian, Ms. Tino Rose who obtained 185,59 and 189 votes respectively.
