The Makerere University Business School Management has approved the introduction of customized graduation gowns for postgraduate, Diploma and Certificate Graduate programmes with effect from the 17th Graduation Ceremony on Friday May 31, 2017.
This was revealed in the Graduation Committee Meeting chaired by Prof. Vincent Bagire on Tuesday April 23, 2024.
The customized Gown with special features is intended to provide uniformity of the academic dress for graduands and also to rekindle the memories of this special day to graduands. Graduands will be required to purchase customized graduation gowns with a hashtag 17th MUBS Graduation, and a Logo for different programmes, starting this year.
The new development will bring about a change in the graduation history of MUBS since graduands have always bought gowns of their choice outside the School.
