Prof. Muhwezi recently participated in two significant closing ceremonies of the GROW Project aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs and refugee women with essential business skills.

On August 18, 2025, Prof. Muhwezi attended the closing ceremony of the GROW Project Women Refugee Training held at MUBS. Expressing pride in MUBS’ role in imparting knowledge, a vital key to thriving in today’s world.

Following this, on August 22, 2025, Prof. Muhwezi attended the closing ceremony of the 10-day GROW Project Essential Skills for Women Entrepreneurs training in Bulo Butambala. He expressed confidence that the trainees had gained valuable competencies to grow their businesses sustainably. “I strongly believe these trainees are now better equipped to navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship and take their enterprises to new heights,” he remarked. The free training programs, supported by the MUBS Entrepreneurship Innovation and Incubation Centre, equip participants with skills in entrepreneurial mindset, digital marketing, business management, and financial literacy to foster business growth.

Prof. Muhwezi’s active involvement in these programs highlights MUBS commitment to promoting entrepreneurship, gender equality, and economic empowerment for women across Uganda.
