I appreciate each one of you for your efforts in the last concluded semester and for those that have turned up for the marking exercise, I commend you.

The Dean Faculty of Procurement and Logistics Management, Assoc. Prof. Shiella Namagembe called upon the teaching staff in the Faculty to specialize, focus and concentrate on their chosen areas they are teaching, which improves their knowledge, understanding expertize and improved productivity in the chosen areas. She however encouraged them to continue doing research in other various fields along side their area of specialization to broaden their general knowledge and perception in life. Assoc. Prof. Namagembe made the remarks while addressing Faculty Staff during the final time table review meeting for semester two for the Academic Year 2023/24 meeting that took place on January 9, 2024 at MUBS Main Campus Nakawa. It is during this meeting that the Departments of Procurement and Supply Chain Management and Transport and Logistics Management presented their time tables for Semester two, allocated the workload among the staff and requested members for prompt comments for consideration in the final time table to be submitted to the School Registrar. Assoc. Prof. Namagembe appreciated the staff for their efforts in the last concluded semester and those that turned up for the marking exercise. She also encouraged staff to always request for permission in case they intend to go for further studies or any other upgrades. In addition, Assoc Prof. Namagembe informed members of the upcoming events in the faculty that include the supply chain analytics workshop which will be held on January 25, 2024, a must to attend by all academic staff in the Faculty.
