MUBS Jinja Campus had the pleasure of hosting a Memorable Academic Excellence Award Ceremony at their campus on March 14, 2024.
This is an annual event where outstanding students who have excelled in different academic programmes are recognised. During the ceremony, they recognized the outstanding commitment of the students to their studies, with a perfect attendance record and 100% assignment submission. It their unwavering dedication to academic excellence.
While officiating at the event, Mr. Lauben Lufafa urged the students not to just sit at home waiting for a dream job after University but to volunteer even when they are not paid. He further advised them to value their parents and learn to save and invest. “A child will never be wiser than his parents, the evil you will do today, your children will pay for them, therefore behave well”, Mr. Lufafa advised.
Mr. Lufafa further called upon the students to give education more time emphasizing that the education they are getting today is more important than the money.
At the same time, Dr. Noah Mwelu , the Head of Department Marketing and Management who represented the Campus Director Dr. Veronica Mukyala thanked the Lecturers for doing their job of teaching and thanked the students for excelling in their academics.
