The Ag. Principal Prof. Moses Muhwezi appreciated the Dean of Students’ office for doing a good job among the Guild leadership.  He appreciated the outgoing Guild Speaker and the entire Guild Representative Council house members for serving diligently the students’ community.
Prof. Muhwezi was addressing the Members of the Guild Representative Council (GRC) during their training which was organized by the office of the Dean of Students on April 4-5, 2024 at MUBS Main Campus.
Prof. Muhwezi urged them to stand out from the crowd, to advocate for what there constituency needs. “Do not be average”. he said He urged them to protect the reputation of MUBS because they equally benefit from it therefore they should by all means defend the institution they subscribe to.

Always make an annual report of what you have done during their term of office for the administration to understand your achievements and challenges for a better solution and continuity of the achievements.

The Dean of Students Ms. Juliet Kateega appreciated the School Management for the executive and overall support towards the students’ leadership. Leadership is a virtue and to be a leader is an opportunity to do self  assessment on how you can handle issues.

Ms. Kateega appreciated the  Guild Representative Council for offering themselves for service for their fellow students and advised them to conduct themselves in a way that attracts favor onto them wherever they will go after university.

She advised them to always make reports of what they have done during their term of office for the administration to understand their achievements and challenges for a better solution and continuity of the achievements.
She further requested the legal advisor to organize a special session for the GRCs specifically to help them understand the Guild constitution to avoid constitutional crises.”

The Guild President H.E. Christopher Waswa appreciated the Guild leaders at all levels  saying that he could not have made it this far without there  contribution and appreciated God for always protecting and  guiding them.
He thanked the GRCs for doing their best in his Guild regime because it is important to have checks and balances for quality  service delivery to the students  and ultimately requested them to serve with honor, respect and total cooperation with the next regime and work together in harmony.

The outgoing Guild Speaker Rt Hon. Edwin Muhumuza  applauded the entire GRC team  and noted that these trainings are very important for them to not only serve the students but also the communities where they  come from.
He applauded the outgoing Guild Executive team for always working with the GRC house for a common goal of serving the students.
